Did you know the first menstrual cup was invented by American actress, Leona Chalmers in the 1930s and made of rubber? Ms. Chalmers was ahead of her time and women were not ready to accept the idea. At the time, women wanted disposables.

It wasn't until the last decade that a few resourceful, dynamic women challenged the status quo and brought the concept back to life. Knowing there was a better way, each created their own interpretation of Chalmer's innovation.

The Lunette was Heli Kurjanen's version of the ultimate, comfortable menstrual cup which has proven to be a favorite among cup users. It has a length that is most compatible, a tab that is flat and flexible, larger airholes for easier release, as well as a frosted appearance that is, well, pretty. Each cup comes with a satin storage pouch. Pouch colors vary from box to box, but they are all elegant.
