BREAKFAST SLICE

We are all busy, but breakfast is super important. This recipe is a great brekky for when you're on the go & need something to grab on your way out the door!

You'll need

3 cup Almond meal
½ tsp Changing Habits Seaweed Salt
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ cup Coconut Oil, melted
½ cup Organic Rice Malt Syrup or Maple syrup
2 tsp Vanilla Essense
1 cup Shredded coconut
2 cup Pepitas, Sunflower seeds (or a mixture of seeds)
½ cup Almond slivers
½ cup Sultanas

How to make it?

  1. Prepare a slice tin and line with baking paper.

  2. In a small bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda

  3. In a large bowl, combine coconut oil, syrup and vanilla

  4. Stir dry ingredients into wet

  5. Mix in coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almond slivers and sultanas

  6. Press the dough into the baking dish, wetting your hands with water to help pat the dough down evenly

  7. Bake at 180°C for 25 -30 minutes or until brown.

  8. Allow to cool and refrigerate before cutting into slices.
